چکیده
Background/Aim. The ability to effectively and consistently penetrate into dentinal tubules is considered as a favorable factor of root canal sealers RCS). aim the study was assess penetration depth three RCS combined with four obturation techniques. Methods. Mesial canals 66 extracted human mandibular molars were endodontically prepared randomly allocated 12 experimental groups depending on sealer type used (AH Plus, EndoREZ, Sealapex) technique applied (Cold Lateral compaction, Cone-Fit, Carrier-based, Warm Vertical compaction). Using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transversal cross-sections analyzed maximum measured (396 sections in total corresponded apical, middle coronary third). Results. Group AH Plus/Warm compaction yielded highest - 1,165 ?m, followed by EndoREZ/Cone-Fit 1,154 ?m; lowest for EndoREZ/Warm 502 ?m. thirds (common mean value) 1,204 1,005 ?m apical 770 plus penetrated deeper when techniques heated gutta-percha applied, while opposite findings obtained EndoREZ. Conclusion. appears be influenced used, well applied.

Comparison of Tubular Penetration of AH26, EasySeal, and SureSeal Root Canal Sealers in Single-Rooted Teeth Using Scanning Electron Microscopy
Background and Aim: Tubular penetration of root canal sealers prevents filling material displacement and overgrowth of microorganisms in dentinal tubules. The aim of this study was to compare the tubular penetration of AH26, EasySeal, and SureSeal sealers in single-rooted teeth using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Materials and Methods: Fifty human single-rooted teeth were included in thi...
متن کاملAn In Vitro Scanning Electron Microscopy Study to Evaluate the Dentinal Tubular Penetration Depth of Three Root Canal Sealers
Background: It is difficult to identify a potential sealant with penetration depth until practically analyzed. A scanning electron microscopy (SEM) overview could better describe the internal picture of the materials sealed to the tooth surface on in vitro experimentation since it being a vital procedure for successful obturation. Hence, this study was undertaken to compare the penetration dept...

متن کاملComparison of Bacterial Leakage between 3 Different Root Canal Obturation Techniques in Oval Shaped Canals
Introduction: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the sealing ability of 3 obturation techniques in oval-shaped canals by bacterial leakage assessment. Methods: Sixty mandibular incisors with oval canals were selected after providing buccolingual and mesiodistal radiographs. The teeth were sectioned at a 10 mm distance from the apex. After instrumentation, the teeth were divided into 3 gr...
